FINE WILLIAM IV MAHOGANY METAMORPHIC SERVING TABLE. Circa 1830
This Fine William IV Mahogany Metamorphic Serving Table dates from circa 1830.
The Table has a weighted ‘rise and fall’ mechanism which enables it to be transformed into a three tier Serving Buffet or Dumb Waiter by simply raising the top leaf.
The Table, which has its original brass castors set beneath the bun feet, is a good example of its kind and would grace any home. It would look very eye-catching ‘dressed’ with food and drink on a special occasion.
