SMALL EDWARDIAN INLAID MAHOGANY CARD TABLE. Circa 1910.
This small Edwardian Inlaid Mahogany Card Table dates from circa 1910. The top, of fiddle-back mahogany, has a central inlaid motif of musical instruments and a musical score. The edge has stringing and crossbanding detail.
The Card Table has an inlaid under tier with gallery. The top turns revealing a compartment for storing playing cards, dominoes, etc., and then unfolds allowing the table to be used for games, jigsaws and so on.
The green baize is original and shows the usual signs of use.
The Card Table is sturdy and ready for the home.
