ENGLISH PORCELAIN FINELY-GILDED TEAPOT. Circa 1840
This sumptuously decorated English Porcelain Teapot, raised in three gilded feet and reminiscent of the Regency taste, dates from circa 1840.
It is finely gilded on a deep fuschia-coloured ground with primrose yellow highlights.
The Teapot is in good condition save for a tiny pin prick to the rim, an old, short line where the base joins the body and slight wear to the gilt.
There is no restoration.
