RARE PAIR OF MINTONS REFORM CLUB PLATES. Circa 1860.
This rare Pair of Mintons China Reform Club Plates, the last pair we have, date from circa 1860. They are hand-painted with a wreath of pink roses to the centre within a typical Minton/Sevres-style blue border, edged with gilt.
Not only are the Plates decorative and of good quality but they also have the added interest of coming from The Reform Club, London and are fully marked, as such, to the back. They were retailed by T. Goode & Co, London.
There are no cracks, chips or restoration just some signs of wear to the glaze on the white surface.
Diameter: 9.75 inches (25 cm)
