CHILD'S COMPLETE VICTORIAN TEA SET by CHARLES MEIGH & SON. 1851-1861
This beautiful and complete Victorian Blue & White Tea Set was made for a child by Charles Meigh & Son of Old Hall Pottery, Hanley, Staffordshire (1851-1861). It bears the Factory Mark which includes the Pattern Name ‘Moss Rose’.
The Tea Set consists of a Teapot, Sugar Bowl, Milk Jug and 6 cups and saucers. It has a good, bright glaze.
The Tea Set displays beautifully. There are some damages but this is always the case with china that has been played with by children. The close-up of the Sugar Bowl shows the worst chip. The Teapot, Milk Jug, 3 cups and 5 saucers have no damage.
There is no restoration.
