FINE PAIR OF VICTORIAN STAFFORDSHIRE FIGURES. Circa 1860
This well-modelled and finely-decorated Pair of Victorian Staffordshire Figures of a Scottish Couple, date from circa 1860.
The Lady, wearing a Plaid Skirt, Cobalt Blue Blouse and jaunty Feathered Hat, is standing with a Sheep and Lamb at her feet.
The Gentleman, in Cobalt Blue Frock Coat, Plaid Sash & Socks and Feathered Hat and holding a Set of Pipes, has his trusty Dog at his feet.
Both Figures are generously decorated with shredded clay bocage.
The condition is good. There are no cracks or restoration. There are some minor glaze rubs and minor paint loss.
