VICTORIAN MAJOLICA SARDINE BOX c1880

This attractive Victorian Majolica Sardine Box, designed to look like a casket with ornate fish feet and a swan handle to the lid, dates from circa 1880.

It has a painted number 24 to the base,  The Box is a rich cobalt blue with high glaze.

There is some minor restoration but no major damage.
