This unusual hand painted Continental Porcelain Spill Vase dates from circa 1860. It is decorated with a Monkey dressed as a Gentleman smoking a pipe, his handkerchief hanging from his back pocket.

There is some wear to the gilt and minor nicks to the bottom edge. There is no restoration.

Height: 5.25 inches (13.5 cm)
