ANTIQUE PORCELAIN CHERUB CENTREPIECE c1860
£425.00
This stunning High Victorian, possibly French, Porcelain Centrepiece, with hand-painted floral sprays to the bowl and two Bacchanalian Cherubs beneath Gilt Vines, dates from circa 1860.
It would be ideal for holding fruit, especially grapes, which could be arranged to spill over the sides of the bowl. The colours and gilt are bright.
The condition is good. There is no restoration. There are two tiny chips to the toes, a surface chip to the outside edge of the bowl and one to the back of a gold leaf.
Theis Centrepiece displays beautifully.
