This super and unusually large Mahogany Coffee Table dates from circa 1840.

Its original use was as a bidet and it still retains its original, removable, water tight, Toleware liner. This two-handled liner is adaptable for many uses.

One photograph shows it being used as a Jardiniere.

The condition is good. The Table is strong and stable and the Mahogany has developed a good patination.
