This Sunderland Lustre Bowl bears the impressed mark for Moore & Co of the Wear Pottery, Southwick, Sunderland (1803-74).  It dates from circa 1850.

The Bowl is decorated with transfer prints of Four Verses, a picture of the East View of The Iron Bridge, a Galleon and a Crimean War French Alliance Motif.

Apart from one old chip to the footrim, the Bowl is in good condition with no cracks or restoration.
