This fabulous Wedgwood Creamware Variegated Lustre Jug, sometimes called Moonlight Lustre, dates from circa 1810.

The colours, achieved by “a solution of gold with a little tin mixed with Sweet Wort and laid on with a feather”, are amazing and set off with gold banding.

The condition is good. There is a small, thin, surface chip to the underside of the lip and two, small star cracks to the body.  There is no restoration.
