This Pair of Gilt Cased Plaster Intaglio Displays date from circa 1860. There are 26 Intaglios in total, each edged with gilt paper and individually numbered.

A great deal of care has been taken with the mounting and overall display.

The darker sections in the photographs are simply light reflection on the glass.
