This very attractive English Pottery Jug & Bowl bears the Victorian Design Registration Number 309068 for 1897/98.

The pieces are decorated with monochrome transfer prints of Irises or Flags with the leaf and petal edges highlighted with gilt.

The condition is good. There is no restoration.
