This Fine George II Mahogany Bureau Bookcase dates from circa 1750.

The Bookcase, which is topped with a well-carved cornice, has fielded panel doors and a pair of candle slides.  Inside is well-fitted with adjustable, shaped, mahogany divisions.

The Bureau has a well-fitted interior, two secret column drawers with spring release catches and two further secret drawers above the pigeon holes.

The whole has a good rich colour and patina.
