GEORGE JONES MAJOLICA STRAWBERRY BASKET c1880

This pretty George Jones Majolica Strawberry Basket,  Pattern Number 3300 and with the impressed Crescent and Initials mark, dates from circa 1880.

It is in four sections, the two larger ones for holding the fruit and the two smaller ones for cream and sugar.  The Basket is raised on four feet modelled as small branches.

The top of the handle has been broken and reglued at some time and there is an old, small chip to one foot.
