GEORGIAN BLUE & WHITE RIDGWAY INDIA TEMPLE DINNER SERVICE c1820

This Georgian Blue and White Transfer Printed ‘Indian Temple’ Dinner Service bears the mark of John and William RIDGWAY of Shelton, Stoke Potteries (1814-1830).

The Service dates from circa 1820 and consists of 65 individual pieces:

8 Soup Bowls 10.25 inches (26cm)

8 Medium Plates 8.75 inches (22.5 cm)

4 Large Vegetable Tureens and Covers 11 inches (28 cm)

Gravy Boat 7 inches (18 cm)

Bread Stand 11 inches (28 cm) diameter 2.5 inches (6.5 cm) high

Sauce Tureen, cover and ladle 7 inches (18 cm)

2 Small Stands 7.5 inches (19 cm)

2 Medium Stands 9.5 inches (24 cm)

3 Large Stands 10.5 inches (27 cm)

The condition is good.  Minor wear.  No restoration.
