This beautifully-shaped Antique English Blue & White Transfer Printed Soup Tureen dates from circa 1840.

Both pieces, the base and the cover, bear the mark of Copeland & Garrett of the Spode Works, Stoke.

The tureen is in good condition with no restoration.  It displays beautifully.
