This splendid Oriental Carved Camphor Wood Trunk dates from circa 1910.

The carved central medallions to the sides and top are decorated and make an eye-catching contrast. The side handles and feet are also beautiful carved.

The Trunk is carved on all sides so can be viewed from every angle making it ideal to use as a Coffee Table, if desired.

When the hinged lid is opened there is a glorious smell of Camphor and there is the original, fitted, sliding tray inside.
