This lively Pair of Victorian Staffordshire Dogs, with well-defined coats and muzzles, date from circa 1860.

They have pleasing, wide-open eyes and are decorated with copper lustre highlights which, during the firing process, has morphed into a wonderful deep turquoise blue in places.   This unique combination of colour makes these Dogs a little bit special.

The condition is good with no restoration.
