PAIR REGENCY PAPIER MACHE LETTER STANDS

This elegant Pair of Regency Papier Mache Letter Stands date from circa 1830.  They are beautifully shaped and finely painted with English Garden Flowers – the height of Regency sophistication.

The Stands are in good condition with one virtually unblemished.  The other has lost the internal base panel which connects back to front.  This is only visible when taking a ‘bird’s eye’ view from the top.  There is also a sliver of Papier Mache off the bottom of one of the front feet.

The Stands are in good original condition with no repairs.
