This Rare, Large Pair of Victorian Staffordshire Figures date from circa 1860.  They are modelled as a Pair of Large, Horned Goats riddle by Royal Children, each with a Parrot on their shoulder.

The Potter’s naive outlook on life comes to the fore; he made the Goats look as big a horses

This Pair of Figures stand proudly.

The overall condition is good.  There is the obvious loft of he head of the Princess’s Parrot and the tail of the Prince’s Goat has been reglued.  There is no other restoration.
