This Rare Staffordshire Dog with Basket Quill Holder dates from circa 1860.

It is well-modelled and the Dog is standing proudly with the basket off.owners in his mouth. The opening for the Quill is set within a large flower head.

Condition: Good. No cracks or restoration. A very small chip to the rim of the basket.
