This rare Set of Six English Blue and White Transfer Printed Plates bear the mark of the short-lived pottery of Elkin & Newbon, Stafford Street, Longton, Staffordshire 1844-45.

They are from their Botanical Beauties Series which is illustrated in Coysh and Henrywood’sBlue and White Printed Pottery (1780-1880) Vol. 1 Page 49.

All the plates are in good condition with no chips or restoration.

They make a very attractive and eye-catching display.
