VICTORIAN MAJOLICA CHEESE DOME c1880

This wonderful Victorian  Majolica Cheese Dome dates from circa 1880.

It is decorated with large, green leaves, set within yellow ropework archways, against the most attractive lilac ground.  An unusual three-colour combination which works very well.

The condition is good.  There is no restoration.
There is a small, old, surface chip to the inner edge of the Stand and thr knop has been reglued with hardly any loss.
