VICTORIAN TRINITY HOUSE SHIP INLAID TEA CADDY

This interesting Figured Walnut Trinity House Tea Caddy dates from circa 1880.

The top is inlaid with a Ship in full sail.

There are two lidded compartments which are lined in silvered paper and the inside of the lid is trimmed with coloured papers and a ‘scrapbook’ picture of a child at a piano.

The Tea Caddy is in good, unrestored condition.  There are a couple of minor losses and good signs of wear.
